Pujara is man of the series by a mile.
He and Kohli have been what Dravid - Laxman was during their 03 tour.

is it by a mile? Not that he hasn't been outstanding, mind you

Just that Bumrah would be in the discussion for mine...

Shane Warne says the Aussie batsman are under scoreboard pressure and it sounds like he’s blaming the bowlers.

I read it as opposition teams know that if they are patient and score big they can bat us out of the game because our batting line up are like butter to a hot knife.

He did the same during the Melbourne test. Except he straight up blamed the bowlers. Even pulled out all these stats about their averages at certain stages of the innings to put the blame on them.

Yes by a mile

faced over 1000 balls, in a series where patience and occupying the crease is key

Bumrah excellent, but our unpatient bats contributed a bit

All our problems would be solved if D'arcy Short and Adam Zampa were playing though...

Maybe not a mile but a clear differential for mine - Pujara ensured Jazzy always had totals to bowl at.
Bumrah and Kohli next tier down, then the rest.

But "the rest" have collectively all done their jobs too especially the bowling.
They're not the greatest Indian team to travel to Australia, but they're better than present day Australia.

I don't agree that it's by a mile, but he's pushing further ahead with this knock to be fair.

I think Bumrah has possibly been the best fast bowler to come out here since the great West Indians. I'm that impressed by the bloke.

Our so-called "best attack in the world" has been found out this series, probably bar some terrific efforts from Lyon and Cummins. SA, India's both better. Add in the worst batsmen in the world and it's a miracle we won a test this series.

I missed that during Melbourne but he was bringing out the stats again a few minutes ago.

Phil Gould should tap Starc on the shoulder and tell him he is "looking tired" and replace him with Behrendorff. JL will no doubt approve.

It's very interesting that we haven't been able to get a lick of reverse swing since Mrs Spook's boy Warner got the arse.

Mitch Darsh got a bit in Melbun.

The only other bloke we've got who consistently gets reverse is Starc, and his action looks wonky lately
