Time for one of Enlgand's top 4 to stand up with a mighty knock. I doubt it actually happens though.

England were looking solid at 2/92 but wickets either side of the lunch break sees them looking as wobbly as a car with 3 tires at 4/94.
Root still there.

Lower order fights hard, tight but maybe England with small edge?

England lead by 233 and have 2 wickets left, importantly S Curran is still there on 37* (he is averaging over 50 in tests now if he remains not out). India got 78 runs from their last 2 wickets.

Ball didn't appear to be doing much day 3. But that doesn't mean it wont do something for the England bowlers on day 4.

If England lose from here, that Pujara tail end batting display has been a massive factor in this game. That said, so is the run-out of Joe Root when he finally looked in form.

Anderson runs Curran out, Broad plays a waft first ball to a wide one, India need 245 to win and if England lose a tight one - their snr bowlers have not helped things.

Cracker of a test match

Poms slightly ahead with runs on the board. Can see India crumbling and poms winning

It's very even

246 and 271 plays 273 and a target of 245. Good viewing and it's anyone's game. I tend to think England will win, but India are well and truly in with a shot

India 2 down for 17. Anderson picks up Pujara.
England edging in front.

Enthralling game with so many twists. It's what makes test cricket the best.

This partnership is a bit all or nothing, although less so if Dhawan falls.

Get Kohli and it's good night India.

Dhawan gone. India 22/3 - England on the cusp, but Kohli brings out the best in his partners.

Just gotta get Kohli and India look to be folding here.

Might not even have to get Kholi if the other seven can't stick around.

True, but the Indian middle seem to bat better with Kohli, this series especially. They've crumbled without him (even Pujara in the first innings this test got his start with Kohli dragging him - he just went on with the job post-Kohli).

Gee I think England are a bit stiff there...looked like bat on pad to me

Rashid bowling rubbish here.

King Kong Kohli isn't monkeying around here.

150 to win, 7 wickets in hand.

This game is tighter than Manly's operating budget.

Moeen might have snagged King V-Rat here, although the Rat has reviewed.

Looks like a clear glove to bat pad, and it is.

Bye bye India
