I think we just don't give much of a shit about international T20?

Like, CA seem to have a weird approach to it. They always want to have more and more T20 in the schedule, but at the same time we've never really treated it as much more than an exhibition in terms of selections?

The squads are always full of bit part cricketers, or pieces of shit like Wade, or misfiring Merkins like Starc...

There's no doubt about that, it's been that way since we began the format. It was a novelty event (players not wearing caps, have your nickname printed on the back of the shirt, players mic'd up..).

It's not ideal to get flogged by teams like the West Indies knowing how far off the mark they are in other formats but I would still rather us prioritise Test cricket and ODI's than this mickey mouse format.

Problem is CA give central contracts to white ball specialists, so it's a bit rich for them to claim they are focusing their attention on Test cricket. Over half that side today has CA contracts so there is no excuses for them not to perform.
