Siddle is our most dangerous bowler when he pitches it up, behind Bollinger

Johnson's bowling, simply put is atrocious. At least Hilfenhaus isn't spraying them everywhere and bowling dumb short sh*t.

Siddle is the most infuriating of the lot because he has shown he can be lethal when pitching it up and when he does he takes wickets then goes back and bowls short crap atleast with Johnson we expect rubbish and he delivers.

Yes, but he is about as lethal as a butterfly.

He only really played well in Brisbane.
He bowled much better in Melbourne IMO. He bowled well across that whole innings, a sustained spell of fast bowling was pleasing to see.

Brisbane was a burst of wickets flanked by rubbish.

Yes. He seems to go good performance such as Brisbane then back to rubbish in second innings, Adelaide, then good in Melbourne and back to average here. It's inexplicable that he goes back to the short rubbish. He doesnt have a particularly threatening short ball, especially when just bowled repeatedly rather than as a surprise.

Cook becomes the first batsmen since Lara in 1995, to pass 750 runs in a series.

Lara scored 765 Runs in 10 innings vs ENG in 1995.

cook now needs 1 more run to move to 2nd on the list of most runs in a series by a pom

I thought he was okay in Melbourne without being spectacular. Certainly he was the pick of the bowlers but that's not saying much.

He has been awful again here but so have the rest. Watson bowled a good spell this morning - other than that it's been terrible.

i watched him play the 20/20 last night and he looked good.took 3 wickets bowling with purpose.

apparently he can bat a bit too.

no doubt someone will set me straight but why hasn't he been mentioned for selection?

O'Keefe, unlike every other spinner in the country, is a genuine wicket taker. He doesn't just buy wickets, he gets batsmen out.

He'll wanna get all his runs now. England won't bat again. Has Australia (or anyone) ever suffered 3 innings defeats in a single Test series? If not, I reckon we might be facing our first time ...

Cook's now at number 16 on the top series runscorers list. a score of 222 will put him in the top 10.

Yep these two look like they're going to have to get themselves out. Still a long way to go in the game, but we could find ourselves batting for a draw if these two don't lose their concentration.

I don't think we've bowled terribly, but we certainly haven't bowled with the control and consistent pressure of the English bowlers.

We've bowled some good spells but for the most part it has been rubbish.

And to be fair, other than Johnson, I just don't think any of them have the talent to do any better.
