I dont disagree with you, they are still talking him up though and say he will be back so I think they will pick him in the squad although I wouldn't.

If we go for an all rounder at 6 it should be a spinner/batsman although Slug bowls a few offies.

Darsh will no doubt go to Sri Lanka and they can use his strengths as a good bloke in the sheds while Big Slug does the work on the field

Is it half a second if the fielder doesn't chase and bring it back at all? Especially if it saves a quick from chasing, saves his fatigue etc etc. Why else do they have 8-12 staff evenly and strategically placed around the ground the whole series?

I have that overwhelming urge every weekend so in my own experience I'd be leaning towards the latter

We know they are there and letting the ball hit the boundary then throwing it to the fielder won't help the over rates..
