A pay per view bukkake. An underdone, mediocre English side has let a very, very limited aussie side paper over the cracks this summer. The away tours will be a live-streamed annihilation.
No proactivity, levers or rampageTerrible plan, where the dictating terms in all that?
Come again?A pay per view bukkake.
Blast for a couple of overs. When we lose 2 more wickets take our 2/20 which means we're well over 200 and game as good as wonUse the power surge than declare.
Knowing our luck they'll all get out to unthreatening Mark Wood half trackers anyway.
Come again?
Don’t know what everyone is worrying about we’ve already got enough runs.
I don't think you can seriously say Smith is on the wane or that anyone has Smith worked out. Not even Smith, and that's the problem.
He's so laser focused on nothing in life but cricket that he starts hearing "Smith has a weakness against leg theory" or whatever and he manifests it.
Realistically he got out a few times against Wagner who literally bowls nothing but short shit, has played a handful of Tests since, not scored runs the way he expects and looks like he's gotten well inside his own head, based on the amped up weirdness
That was once in a lifetime stuff from Stokes. His mind is already on the plane ride home and assaulting unsuspecting members of the public.

I think the ability for teams to bowl to specific plans that choke the runs out of him has the ability to wear him down mentally. There seems to be less of a release valve now. What used to happen was that teams would bowl leg theory, but he was able to get out of it with runs, which would naturally change the opposition's inclination.
Now their plans have become more targeted and disciplined, he's not scoring as much and subsequently getting himself into a quagmire.
Checking out his strike rate: Debut to end 2019: 56
2020 to now: 47
Sizeable drop.
He’s cooked, he f**ked with his technique all off season. He should go back with what worked in the past and just stick with it.Steve Smith (since his epic 2019 overseas ashes series)

Sure but again, 9 Tests in 24 months doesn't exactly give him much time to work back into form either.
How many Tests did he play before the 2019 Ashes?
