Well done all players.

Tahu will be out with a hammy tear, so there is a spot open.

Looks like a real Origin trial as the players who played for Aus where omitted.

Creagh I just dont understand and Gallen is still a fair way from his best. Bird is a Lock not a second row . I just dont understand these selections.

Tahu's pulled a hammy - he won't play.

Amos Roberts??? Nathan Merritt dudded again.

Wing??
Luke Lewis????
Fitzgibbon???

What is this - a reward for services rendered??
Why pick blokes whose representative careers are over. these guys aren't pressing for SOO - look to the future.

Anasta? - if he is a SOO contender we are in poor poor shape.

As mentioned - Bird in 2nd row??? Nullifies his game.
Creagh?? Rubbish.

farrah is our best option for 7 in SOO. Tough, smart and goes for 80.
Superior kicking game to Noddy and far more try assists.

Gower?? Nope!

That's right, this could really hurt our season. Our managing staff can put our rep players on all the bloody airplanes they like, but it remains to be a horrible scheduling conflict.

Remember in 2005 when we were playing ourselves into some great form then played 3 interstate games in a row? I think it was something like two Queensland games and the home game we took to Perth. THAT killed our season and we had plenty of time to recover in comparison to the next few games.

3 games in six days could end up being nightmarish for us, we'll really struggle with that. The only positive I can see coming out of this is testing our depth. There's bound to be one or two of our new rep players picking up a niggling injury somewhere down the line. I'd love to see a new halves pairing get a shot and even some rotation of our pack.

A big congratulations to Bird and Douglas who've built themselves into fantastic players the last couple of years...there are no debutantes more deserving than these two. Pomeroy has played some good football and this might give his confidence a bit of a much-needed boost. Players that know they're king sh*t are the ones that drop a lot less ball.

Will be interesting to see Gallen line up against Bird.

100% spot on - reputation wins out over form in most cases. the fact that the roosters and dragons have anybody in the team is a f*ckin sham - there are a couple of players from the likes of the sea eagles and rabbits that can feel hard done by.

sharks have done well though:p

No Orford. This means unless Noddy farks up huge he's a special for NSW.

Merritt got robbed. I'd have him over Roberts.

Pomeroy must be the biggest bolter ever.

Watmough on the bench. That would be indication that he is below Matuia, Hoffman and Gallen for SOO selection which is good for Birdy aswell.
