re: CityRail - DISGUSTING decision

Is there anyway the NRL can lean on the State Government to force CityRail to reschedule?

If you softened anymore, McDonalds would curl you into a cone and sell your poonceyness for 30c a throw.

McDonald's and fast food outlets are other things I avoid.

I went to Canberra last Friday and tacked on an ejoyable Saturday at Thredbo.

I also rearranged my work schedule to watch the boys train at Concord yesterday, and will probably do so tomorrow as well.

Now that's both manning up and f**king sad me reckons.

I do my bit to support the boys.

type of sh*t im talking about. had enough of wasting time on trains and in traffic in this city. if i can avoid it, i do.

and as i keep saying. live on tele. if the C9 & the NRL didnt want me to watch it at the pub, they wouldnt put it on tele.

this weekend is for bandwagoners. and look at the positive.......there will be one extra ticket available for someone else. :)

enjoy the game.

Not a bad start for Suncorp!

Roosters fans both in SE QLD and those travelling up from Sydney have done a sensational job if the above is to go by!

Work colleague rang to look at tickets and could not get 2 seats together in Tigers Cat 1 and Cat 2 is in the 604 bay. Ended up Cat 3.

They did it to us a few years ago as well. It definately could affect the crowd.

They're geniused! They did it last year before the Bulldogs V Eels game as well... I don't understand why they couldn't do it two weeks later or 3 weeks before:? Let's hope the St George Illawarra & Wests Tigers fans who live down south can make there way to the stadium.

Saw this on Facebook, from the NRL page:

"Dragons fans lead Tigers 51%-49% in ticket purchases for Saturday night's Preliminary Final. Can the Tigers match them?"

Looks like it might be a 50/50 crowd. Awesome stuff!

Are they fair dinkum? Track work on a Saturday in September. F**k me.

"Oh but we planned this a while ago". They either didnt think that major sporting events happen in September, or they seriously dont give a toss.

It'll be even worse if it was on the Olympic Park line which they already twice this season.

48,500 sold according to today's Telegraph. Apparently Dogs v Eels had big sales on the 3rd day (Wednesday) so if that occurs today 70K is on the cards.

How many tickets can actually be bought?

How many tickets does Members/Officials/Family etc take up?
