I tried out for 1 dollar short..guitar
Didn't get the gig...lucky they were too far away for me to travel to.

To me they were the pretty much the only Australian band to attempt to really latch onto the whole "Nu-Metal" thing. And yes, I use "Nu-Metal" as a pejorative term.

Whatever happened to Chocolate Starfish?
Now there was a band that was tremendous live.

Saw the lead singer in a covers band in Alice back in 09, then again recently working with Indigenous kids in remote communties. Seemed a top bloke and great performer.

One top band I remember from the nineties in Brisbane was The Toothfaeries. They had a great live show with dancers with hairy armpits. Pretty crazy stuff!
