The tackle was unlucky. From what i saw at the ground (and it was right in front of me) Gringlis seemed to spin/slide into where Barrett was going to hit. I think Baz was going for a bloody hard tackle, don't get me wrong! But i don't think he intended to get him in the jaw.

It's a violent game, especially at Origin. As long as they boys shake hands and walk away from it - i don't think the fans should worry too much!

I thought Barret's shot on Ingliss was a rather cheap shot in hitting him from behind, much like the did with PJ Marsh.

Thats not footy thats just being a thug. I'd rather see a good hit than that sort of crap And it cost us a penalty.

JessEel!!!!!!!!! :shock: I am sooo shocked at you advocating violence!!!!!!! It's sickening to see ANY player laying unconscious on the ground, no matter who they are.

Oh and PMSL! So many sore losers in here today!! For the record, I support the blues, and I was there last night, and it has to be said, that first half was DEPLORABLE! SOFT! I was embarrassed to be wearing BLUE!

They earned a bit more respect in the second half but really, they lost it by their own mistakes, the Maroon forwards were dead on their feet, the game was there to be won and the Blues had no f**king idea what they were doing.

Hayne, Watmough and Gidley were outstanding. They're some of the few who can hold their heads up today.

seeing inglis get dropped was the highlight of my night. the mad right hook that crocker copped was also sweet.

Crocker is a great man. A pillar of society, you could say. My highlight of the match was him punching the deadsh*t Dragqueens player in the head, before he was held back by 2 players and got slapped by Poore.

Talk like that from a young lady is like music to my ears. The NRL has gone so antiseptic that we must rely on origin for good old fashioned grubbery nowadays and last nights game was the freakin grub parade.

Barrett, Watmough, Crocker, Gallen, Cam Smith, just about all the biggest and best grubs in the comp were there and wasn't it great? Not only was there a bit of biff and a few high shots going on display but I'm sure there would have been a plethora of assorted grubbery going on that we didn't see. Squirrel grips, hair pulls, Facials, all the tricks of the grub trade were there. It was freakin fantastic. Last night was Rugby League as God himself intended the game. No quarter given and none taken. Do what you can to get one up on your opponent knowing damn well that they would reciprocate.

What a great game, State of Origin is. Seems almost a shame to go back to regular NRL now for a few weeks, where all this stuff is banned and policed.
