Whenever I seem to catch an UFC match or whatever
its mostly guys just wrestling each other on the floor doing holds, of course there are going to be some KO's but they aren't common I soon realized.

Before I ever watched a match I thought it was just two guys run in like a street fight fists flying kicking etc, after watching it, its more like 2 guys running in for tackle practice...

Well you are obviously not a real MMA fan. The wrestling and that is very intresting to watch...they arent just tackling or hugging...they are trying to snap each others limbs in half and/or choking the other guy out. go watch boxing.

took me a long time to appreciate MMA. it's pretty technical and yeah, slow when it hits the mat.

get 2 muay thai specialists in there and watch the knees and 'bows flying around and it gets pretty sick, though.

having said that i'd probably just prefer to watch muay thai. lol. now that's some srs business.

Thats how i got into MMA when i was younger...i watched alota muay thai and kick boxing.

If you just want to see people get knocked out then go watch boxing and street fights on youtube, clearly MMA isn't your sport: you're too much of a simpleton for it. MMA isn't about knocking people out, it's about combining areas of different martial arts for a more complete fight. This includes grappling, wrestling, clinch work as well as the stand up that the simpletons find so entertaining. I cannot stand so called "MMA fans" who watch it just to see people get knocked out. They're completely missing the point and can f**k right off.
