Cogburn has "chickened out".

One down, two to go.

How much humiliation can you take?

I hope I don't have as much as you, otherwise this could take decades.

Keep them coming

No need. You're a chicken sh*t, I just wanted to see it in writing. You're the one of the three that I knew would bail on the idea.

RLE will bail too.

I hold out hope for Melon though. He is the Moe to your Larry and RLE's Curly after all.

I make a fool of you every day. I'm having way too much fun. As you've been told (you are very slow) I've already done the forum thing and the team we had won easily. You are way out of your depth with us. :D

You reckon?

I think a poorly trained Duck with a pencil in it's mouth would make more sense than the three of you put together.

You're just three imbeciles who like to bark. Your barking keeps the board moving and that's the only good thing about you.

Anyway, you're a coward, let the other two speak for themselves.

I would have to say Melons 7's team (The Virtual Melons?)were a pretty slick outfit, they were the benchmark for Forum 7's teams to follow. (There's that word again "Benchmark") only this time they were. As is the team from last year the "Benchmark" for all the teams next year.

I wouldn't say you won easily, but were deserving winners.

If these guys have written anything worth reading, I haven't seen it and neither have a lot of people who read and/or post in this forum.

If Cogburn and RLE have written anything worth reading, it was probably written for them.

Surely I'm allowed a bit of poetic license? :D

Tony, many of the Players this year were Rookies and the quality of Players and Teams was excellent. We were proud to win, because we respected the other teams that we played.

EA, the concept of the Forums is to form a community where we can write articles that are well thought out and we all wear our hearts on our sleeves. Rooster Cogburn has agreed to play with us next season, and I'm really pleased about that. We are going to be giving all our Rookies a huge run next Season, and for those of us who have played previously, we will be there as a back up.

Good to hear Penelope ... it was the intention of the thread after all. F7's Roosters without their most infamous online supporter would be like having fried rice without those little green shallots that everyone dislikes. No one eats them but they have to be there.

Glad to hear you grew some cods Coggie. ;-)

It was the French thing that swayed you eh?

I have respect for anyone prepared to put themself in the firing line in 7's, including RC.

Oh, except for Parramatt. :?

LOL. The fact that it's Parramatt puts him permanantly in the firing line (unintentionaly), he just can't help it! There is one bloke who needs to engage the brain before putting mouth into overdrive, which he is very apt to do.

so what you are showing is a total lack of respect for the players we had last year?? did you read the articles written - did you see the g/f posts?? a great game - and I will not have anyone saying that we ween't the best - we tried hard and damn it even if we had the other Rooster players we would have won anyways - but thats not the point.

We had a team and I was pleased as punch that they won - but to have someone say that "without their most infamous online supporter would be like having fried rice without those little green shallots that everyone dislikes. No one eats them but they have to be there."

Crap!! and that's not trying to cry down our first efforts two seasons ago... Must make you guys quiver in fright...nor am i trying to cry down our polayers in that year either .

I also appreciate you wrote this in jest but honestly - tell me one article you have written worth reading?? ( I must admit - you will be one of the top players next year)

Where did I say I didn't respect anyone who played last year? And who said you weren't the best team?

I have no idea why you said that. This was nothing more and nothing less than a bait thread to get three people to put their hands up for F7's. If they're any good and judging on what I've seen here, they may well be, I don't have a lot to gain, except a couple of grudge matches. It's got nothing to do with what happened last season, last season is only relevant to me because I read a few posts (including the Grand Final posts) to get an idea of what 7's is all about.

Respect isn't something I'm prepared to hand out retrospectively.

Respect is earned and the three mentioned at the top of this thread haven't earned mine. I wasn't involved in 7's last season or the first season and however many were in between and of the posts I did read, I can't recall seeing any from any of the three mentioned. RC now has my respect, however grudgingly it may be given, for putting his hand up. But it doesn't mean I will pander to him and agree with everything he says. It will probably mean a slight easing up of the insults. Besides, you and I both know he thrives on it.

errrr

Re-read what I said, I can't relate it to last year because, and I'll repeat this, I wasn't there. I'd only just joined LU when you played the GF prior to that all I can remember about 7's was seeing threads about it at LWOS and making a comment to Willow about it. The comments made in this thread are based on what I've seen since I joined LU. That particular comment was made specifically in regard to RC and next season. Honestly, I have more to do with those RC and his cohorts than virtually anyone in your 7's team for next season. I, and others, have been arguing for months with those three and I actually thought, without knowing the history, that they may have something to bring to the F7's table. Maybe that's the salient point.

Huh?

No offence, but you're right off track here.

Sorry, you've lost me now. This was nothing more than what I said, a bait thread for RC and his mates. So far it's worked quite well.

Just relax, no one is here to hang shit on the Roosters F7's team from last season, you won it and I respect that you won it. From what I read 7's is a bloody tough competition to win. You're also forgetting that my captain is one of your team mates from last season. I wanted to join his team out of respect for him.

I don't expect too much from myself but I enjoy it.

Antichrist, I am not participating in the 7's because of your "baiting". I am doing it as a favour for Penelope.

Whatever your claimed reason, you weren't there before this thread and now you are.

Happy to be of service. ;-)

Melon, too burned out for 7's?

I can't confirm or deny that you were any good because I've only seen the brain-dead mush you post here. I'd like to see if you've still got something to offer when something's on the line.

Apparently you were pretty good in your day but it's ok to admit that you're not up to it any more. I would totally understand.

Were you a non-playing captain?
