We have 1 premiership, you have 0.

Best to learn what trophies/plates/toilet seats are awarded for winning certain competitions.

May be so, but we have 1 championship, you have 0 (after how many goes again? Is it 3?)

Yes, I'm aware we also have a wooden spoon in the cabinet as well, but I'm pretty sure championships are more valuable than premierships. But that's just me :)

Depends what you value I guess. The Mariners were the best team throughout the season.

The Jets were the best team on February 24.

Sydney and Heart played out one of the most uninspiring draws I've seen last night. 0-0 snorefest.

It's a pity Newc v LA meant nothing last night, it was the only entertaining game this weekend so far.

Well I was there as usual and I thought...

The game was pretty dull
The atmosphere was off...the biggest cheer was for the mexican wave
The amount of bandwagoners there was unbelievable....people sititng next to us openly addmitted that this was the only jets game they will be at this year

I just didn't enjoy the night tbh...I've had more fun at a-league games with 8k there

Maybe because I was crook...dunno

Why is it that every Sydney A-League game is normally a snore fest?

Terrible, terrible team. No entertainment value and their cove fans are bottle throwing wankers.

Too many eurosnobs I would imagine. People who sit at home watching midnight/2am EPL and heard the word Beckham.

I think it will damage Newcastle's HAL season, playing an exhibition game mid-season can't be good for them.

It's the F3 Derby. It's been known as that since it ignited back in Season 1. Trying to challenge wording, for no known reason... hilarious.

Gosford and Sydney are closer than Gosford and Newcastle by what, 5km?

Calling it a derby doesn't make it a derby.

We have been terrible this year, but the Syd vs MH game wasn't too bad.

You're wrong -as always- about the Cove. The Cove didn't throw the bottle at Hernandez.

why? It's just another 90 minutes.

Those 'eurosnobs' you talk about watch their teams play a couple of times a week reguarly without it damaging their season.

In fact, I would think Newcastle will be buoyed by the game, a win, a good home crowd. IMO, it will only be good for them.

Imagine if Solorzano had been fit from the start of the season. Daresay we would have converted a few of those early season draws into victories. The only problem with him scoring goals is that we only have him on loan. It'd be a shame if he ends up league top scorer, helps us qualify for the ACL and win the league and we end up losing him.

Anyway, hope we don't take the foot off the pedal in the second half. Would love to see Solorzano get a hattrick, and Barbarouses or Reinaldo needs to grab a goal too, imho.

Tragic game. Simon alone up front is terrible and most of the players looked tired. Kwas/McBreen up front looked muuuuch better second half though.
