Agreed, Jobdog. Celebrating injuries is in bad taste. This is their job, we never know how bad an injury can be, how it can affect their playing career, earning potential, etc. You shouldn't wish an injury on anyone.

It's a positive for opposition teams and their fans if a player (or players) from a team is injured as it increases the likelihood (in most cases) of being able to beat them.

Doesn't mean I wish injury on them.

As for "1-0 and we f**ked it up"...? Really? We still got a point out of the game. If we're talking 2-0 or 3-0 (like we came back from vs Sydney last season) then I'd see your point... but 1-0? :lol: The game was even enough for a draw IMO, not terribly disappointed by the result. Hopefully we can get some points out of Brisbane on Sunday too.

Well, sorry about that implication. Of course, it is an advantage if a key player from another team is gonna miss a match with my club due to injury, but I still always hope for their quick recovery.

Saying it's good that their team picked up a lot of injuries when you've just played them is a little confusing to me? Doesn't have any benefits for the Mariners.

What, you mean when the Jets were 2-0 up then f**ked it up? ;-) Nah at this point, it looks as if the GF will be Brisbane at home vs (insert team). Would love to see them play Gold Coast at Suncorp- United can bring all 5 of their fans up the M3 in the Maxi Taxi and Culina can be shown up for the diving wanker that he is!
