Guys heard on rumour mill this morning on 2ue, that Reynolds could be in Dragns site? Same guy who was stating this also was 1st to confirm Sam Burgess return? Anyone else heard about this???

JT aside, Reynolds would be my first choice half.

Can kick goals and a great general kicking game, is tough and cheaper than Cronk with his best years potentially ahead of him.

I think would be great for us.

Has wanted out of souffs for a while supposedly.

This more than anything. He single handedly tore us apart last year with his kicking game. Would work in perfectly with Widdop.

However, he is also injury proned - I've never been against signing players due to their history with injuries, but it's more a question of whether or not it will impact his speed.

I'm a bit undecided on Reynolds. There was a time that I thought he would kick on to be a fantastic player. Maybe it has been that he hasn't quite fulfilled expectations that I have reservations. Possibly it's because I have developed an unexplainable hatred for the bunnies since the Armani era. (That's a lie, it's easy to explain. Their fans are f**king irritating as shit).

The other side of it is that he is a premiership winning half, should have been a SOO half, has excellent game management, great kicking game, and seems a tough bugger. May be an excellent foil for widdop. Could be a fantastic fit for the side.

HOWEVER. It's the offseason and if there's anything that I know about offseasons it's that most rumors are bullshit. So I could be wasting my breath completely.

Reynolds is a very good player and still young because he had the luxury of being blooded early
and should have already been the SOO half but Daley is an idiot and picks mates mates.

Whilst Reynolds would be a likely asset for us I would much prefer to see Hutch afforded the chance in first grade in the first instance to see if he actually does have the potential to be a champion half and if not we chase really hard for Reynolds.

For mine this issue always gets clouded because there is the expectation to do well right now as against trying to find out what we actually have got that will pay long term dividends.

This issue gets even more muddled as there are some who believe Benji can win us a competition.

Reynolds being so good so young shows the merit in giving the youngsters their chance on a continued basis which is what is now being afforded Bird and Hastings in other camps.

With Widdop being our captain, I can only assume he will resign and be our "big name half." Not sure we can continue to afford the luxury of having two. Have a look at most teams in the comp, they have one dominant half and an lesser player partnering them in the halves (except Broncos).

If Reynolds comes onto the market, I can already see him in a Rorters or Dogs jersey.
