oh my god! oh my god! what a final quarter! GO EAGLES!!!!!

Man i just had to spend 881.81 on my car and at the moment i'm on such a high i don't care!

Hunter should so be in the forwards! But he's such a good defender. err why does he have to be so good at both.

The best thing is we done it with out Judd. He is a awsome player, our best and we still done it with out him. Cuz stood up when it counted and so did some of the other oldies.

I was staring to worry about how we were going to go against the lions up here (sadly the only Eagles game i get to see live) but now, meh no worries at all. Bring it on!

Too good the Hounds.

The game up for grabs in the last, Everitt trudges off buggered and our best footballer (Hodge) is ambling around at FB, the Hounds break the shackles with 3 quick goals and its all over.

The Bulldogs' superior ball usage got them home today, along with the usual class of veterans West and Johnson.

I can't believe the Cats! I watch the first half and leave the match with the purrers in total control, only to find the Eagles totally overran them in the final term to prevail in a thriller. Folded like a soggy homebrand tortilla did the purrburgers, who are now officially GONE in 2006.

Not as much so as the Bombers, with next weeks Essendon vs Geelong clash looking particularly unenticing.

Surely to God, it has to be time for Sheeds to go, does it not?!

Best to retire the coot and let Ayres take over for the remainder of the year.

I haven't seen the game Twiz, we were watching the scores on the scoreboard at Telstra Dome and couldn't believe it when West Coast hit thef ront.

How the hell did Geelong manage to lose that?

This came through on Tiger Talk email group ...

Being a freo supporter I went to tonight's game with my husband and son both of whom are Richmond supporters.
I have to say after tonight I think my colours have changed. Headland, Farmer and Medhurst are a bunch of tossers they way they carry on after kicking goals, especially after dubious free kicks. Umpiring was decisions were dictated by the crowd.
Suzanne

f**k Freo and their arrogant twinkie players. I hope someone lays Farmer out before the dog retires.

Just a simple question, where does Jono Brown rate at the moment in terms of key forwards?
I think he's number 1, if only Brisbane could get the ball to him one on one inside 50 more often

He's up tehre and its just whether you would take Brown or Hall as the no1 KPF 9key positional forward). Reivolt and Pavlich can be good but not as consistently as those two.

:x :(

We should have won that game. Was watching at crown so i think i'll watch the replay before i criticise the umps. Although i can safely say that Freo players are an arrogant bunch of wankers. If they played for West Coast or Adelaide they might get away with it.. but playing for feo and acting like that will win you no friends.

I think i have two tips right this round

Kev, what did i tell ya, if Hawthorn was going to get beaten it wasn't going to be by much.. still bloody lost though ggrrrr

I also tippeed the kangas.. they shoulda won. So most of the outsiders (apart from Carlton - pathetic) put up a fight but class ended up being the difference (except in the fre-rich game something else might have been the difference there  )

Can anyone tell me if Ray hall touched the 'goal' that fremantle kicked at the end of the game... was waiting for another replay but never came.

To my surprise I tipped Geelong everywhere but in our tipping comp.

8 from 8 for me this round.

Thanks to 1.8 in the first quarter from the Doggies & a dead set dill of an umpire (I wish someone would get rid of the f**king deliberate out of bounds rule, it's just not policed consistently).

Were a class above Hawthorn all day, although to be fair, their effort kept them in the game. One of the most commited displays I think I've seen in a long time from the Hawks yesterday.

I have foxtel, just had to be in the city last night. I dont mind whatever channel shows Richmond live is good enough for me.

Yeah but i still didin't think the Hawks would lose by more than 40.

I've watched it a couple more times... still cant say that i am 100% sure it was a goal. How about the richmond goal that was called a point ( in the 3rd quarter) and Polo's mark? The deliberate out-of-bounds.

Like i said i'll have to watch the replay to get a better idea of all the decisions and how we played etc.. bit hard to concentrate while downing a few beers and that kind of thing ;-)

Just gotta say well done to the dees.. love watching the Saints lose lol.

Saints find it hard to play well at anywhere else but Telstra Dome.
