Hey. To all the AFL fans here, just something I need to ask you:
I've noticed a difference in the timeclock that is used on the tv broadcasts. On Ch7, the time in each quarter (on the screen) counts down from 20:00 to 0. However, on the Ch10 broadcasts, when it gets down to 5 minutes, the clock starts to run like stoppage time (in soccer), sometimes going beyond the 30 min mark. Why have the stoppage time format? Wouldn't it be annoying for the players, who may not know how much time there is left in the quarter (that's if the scoreboard also uses the stoppage time format)?
