See ya! I wont be losing sleep. Maybe he should take some notes from the Blake Green case or even one K. Filiga. The Sharks are not a place to develop your game, you either are ready to go or you are out.

Bye bye Albert.

Good luck with your career. And enjoy joining the house of horrors that has been the Sharks under Sticky...

two words - Ben Barba........ good luck Albert, I hope you earn a wage from Rugby League long enough to set you up, but given your mercenary attitude, I have my doubts. Enjoy your time at Rugby Leagues version of the Titanic...

Pathetic, huh? This is the main reason I think our club should stop pissing a couple of mil a year at our nursery and leave it for the arl to run and pay for. If a kid wants to play for parra and is good enough we'll sign them but spending so much cash is a waste I think. I think dragons, penrith and knights should do the same.

Maybe if you didn't throw $200k a season at Shane Shackleton and $300K + at Justin Poore you might have kept Kelly perhaps...

What if your job could be terminated at any minute due to injury? And the life span of your job was only 10-15 years?

He mustn't be that much of a loss if he can't get an U/20's team home who were up by 8 points with less than 10 to go. The Broncos were missing a bunch of players up in 1st grade too.

He may become a future star, but I can't see it being within the next 2 years....then he'll be off contract again anyway.

mate it could, If i ever get a Hep B/C or HIV infection I can never practice. Wanting to be a surgen if I every get a simple HSV infection on my hand (form a cold sore etc) I would never be able to do that again. Yes my carrer may span more than 10 years but I go to uni for 10 years to be qualified.

Simply Kelly could could easily earn 300-500K in the space of 2 years dependant on how he peforms. If he earns 70-90K this year compared to 150K is not that big difference if in the future it could lead earning 450K instead 250K. The best for Kelly to show his ability is at a sucessfull club (which sharks arnt) or a club know for having a free flowing game (which the sharks dont have). It doesn't bother me that he has left, I am just bewildered by his choice of club, I would have thought Melbourne or Wests were a much better choice.

well he then might have a better chance in 1st grade than at parra

I too would like to see

14. Kelly

If Kingston stays, it's either morts or kelly for 6.

1. Kelly
6. Hayne
7. KK

But then Kelly has no right to get a walk in start. At most on the bench
Thanks for your confidence in me, :D

Kelly can shove it in his arse. f**k him. At least now we can concentrate on Keating and Mortimer as our future halves. I reckon this may now raise the chance of Tim Smith returning to Parra just quietly.

Wasnt that supposed to be Tony Zappia?

the coaching staff are the ones that make the call, Zap just make it happen and considering he only resigned from the club 2 to 3 weeks ago it would be pretty safe tp say that he made the room neccesary in the cap to make it happen.

Dont forget Blake Green.

And good luck on winning a Grand Final. I look forward to meeting Harold Holt too.

This is the worst decision that Kelly could of made. Anywhere but the Sharks. He would have more of a chance becoming a better halfback playing for Brisbane where he would probably never see first grade.

No halfback under Ricky Stuart has gone on to do great things while under Stuart. The best was Wing when he won a premiership at half with the Chooks.

Ricky Stuart will destroy Albert Kelly like he did Brett Firman, Jamie Soward, Josh Lewis, Brett Finch, Brett Kimmorley, Blake Green, Brett Seymore, Craig Wing, Joe Williams, Anthony Watts. Lucky some of them were able to fight their way back and secure a first grade spot, but only when they weren't coached by Ricky.

Ricky Stuart will not give Albert Kelly the time he needs to develop as apart of the team. Just like he never gave anyone else the time. And the players that he did give the time to adjust, he would try and change their game and just ruin them. Brett Kimmorly best example.

Good luck Albert, you are going to need it.

That is actually the DUMBEST example!!!
Noddy was part of a sharks team that came equal first on the ladder whilst Ricky was his coach....something he hadnt acheived under sharks coaching prior to that!!

As for the rest of the halves you named .... how many of them are REAL deal talent??? The only 2 that are showing or have showed any ability in recent times are Soward and Wing....the rest are only just capable first graders.

No Roosters fan can attack anyone for signing players from other clubs without taking the p###......last time I checked, the kids playing at half time at a Roosters game is their entire junior base......

You both buy other teams juniors and buy other teams stars....only not so successfully.

mate since fitzy has left we have signed a few quality players... been linked to a few more and have made offers to alot of jnrs and retained alot. If we wanted to keep Kelly and Gardner it would have prob cost us atleast 50K more for each which can be better spent when you consider the strength of our outside backs.

I'd suggest you go to uni for 10 years and study English after that effort.

FMD. You'll be perfect for writing out prescriptions. God knows what your handwriting is like, but I could take a guess.

i reay don't think it's humanly possible to stop it, part of the balancing act is identifying the right talent that would suit the squad, with the sharks having an over supply of washed up halves who are just about at the end of their career, a bloke like Kelly is more important to them than he would be to us who have Morts and KK who are great talents and are at that right age.

There is a reason why Anderson chose Mortimer over Kelly to play first grade. I trust his judgement.
