Mckinnon sums up Smith pretty well. Not angry at him, just Smith showed the type of person he is

Just glad for the first time the media is casting a light on what a grub Smith is. The sycophantic footy boys club are always telling us how much we love him.

It was completly caused by Alex, he tried to win a penalty and it backfired, if any Melbourne player gets suspended its a farce.

Ingreat, after all the NRL done for him after he decided to duck his head to win a penalty he decides to sue them, hope he can sleep at night.

Only contributor, you look back at McKinnons career, he was renowned for trying to win penalty's by diving into the ground and the whole Knights team was doing it at the time.

Smith was right he ducked his head only stating the obvious, he was trying to win a penalty

Yep 100% correct

If I remember correctly Alex Mckinnon shoulder charged Jordon In the semis the previous year and when Jordon was on the ground clearly hurt he was high fiving his team mates and walking round like he was king shit so he can't talk what so ever.

f**k off idiot, what's he got to apologise for?

Mckinnon should man up and admit he tried for a penalty

The dickheads trying to sell his book, there always has to be a controversial part to advertise it in the lead up to the release.

I won't be buying it.

That's quite a beat up if that's the only part on Smith it lasted like 25 seconds

The way they were advertising Smith was going to get ripped to bits, that part lasted 25 seconds.

f**king wankers

Inappropriate comment

Hahahahaha sensitive bunch

Quoted for posterity.

At the time last monday at belmore I thought the verbal abuse cam smith copped was excessive and way over the top. Thinking about it again now, he deserved every single word of it. What a shit human

Two things:
With regards to suing, no problem with that...I was waiting for it and I'm sure the NRL were as well.
This is something anyone would go through.

With regards to Cam Smith, not discounting how douchey he was at the time but also a few points.
1. He didn't know the extent of the injury, sure it was bad but quadriplegia? No.Especially because that tackle was identical to many each week.
2.He was completely inconsiderate, yes, however...his story isn't about Smith, Smith didn't do that tackle and it isn't Smith's fault that these situations happen.
I just don't get why his apology would be even a blip, especially considering the effort made by the Storm and living your first year as a quadriplegic.

I find it a little coincidental that it's around the time he's releasing a book.
I'm also side eyeing those that just couldn't wait to dig the knife into Smith, all NSW supporters no less.

Potential post of the year there.

The comments by Wayne about McKinnon suing was pretty good, puts it into a bit of perspective.

Cam didn't even think it deserved a penalty in that audio

Just made me hate the Storm that little bit more. Destroyed the game with their wrestling tactics, chicken wing, grapple, crusher. You name it they have invented it. Over the top melodramatic coach, grubby captain, salary cap cheats. Pure garbage.

If Bin Laden was a Queenslander they would have statues of him in every town square. They don't care how big a merkin you are, just whether you wear maroon.

Worth noting, according to the Storms press release today, they tried to contact McKinnon a number of times and were denied access by the Knights

If accurate, hard to complain about a lack of apology when the lines of communication were blocked by Alex's club

When will I get my book?

Alex’s book is currently being printed. Books will be delivered from July 22nd onward. Expect delivery of your book soon after that date.

Who am I paying for the book?

Unbroken is published by Alex. Payment is being made to Alex via SFX Sports Trust / SFX Sports Group (Alex’s managers).

I'd be certain it's a load of shit by Melbourne in attempt to save face.
