I have heard multiple news outlets say that Smith argued for 8 minutes, when it was actually about 30 seconds total.

In even more evidence that the media are morally bankrupt, 60 minutes have offered Smith a right of reply next week - milking it for all it is worth. It's painfully obvious this is purely about ratings.

This situation the natural reaction is to duck your head into you chest, which takes your neck AWAY from the focal point of the force. Try this, just sitting on the couch or wherever. That video goes completely goes against everything the smith defenders have been arguing l!. The first argument is that smith argued straight away in the heat of the moment like any captain would- false, it took minutes for him to make his complaints, by that time everyone had cooled down and had a chance to think.
Second argument was smith didn't know it was a serious injury- well they had to fast forward for a couple of minutes to get to his complaint and in that time they had all the doctors on him and it showed the shocked faces of all the players including smith himself. Again it shows that he alex hadn't left the field before he started his complaints. To Say That Video clears Smith shows you how deluded his supporters truly are

isnt that whats happening? until the book comes out we wont know whats in it, but so far based on 60 minutes and the 'extract' it seems to be a lot of anger about smith. in context smith might be a 2 page part of a 200 page book but right now its being used as publicity for the book.
