Anyways.. good to see Alex still have a sense of humor.
He popped the question on April 1st
It was removed because you had no source/proof

Is that a recent photo? Or is he just announcing it with an older one?
If there was ever motivation to walk again, walking that minx down the aisle will definitely get him there!
The intent is noted, but maybe you have never attended a wedding. It is not the groom who walks the bride down the aisle. It is usually her Dad.

An away trip to Townsville was always going to be tough as the Knights' emotional rollercoaster continued at breakneck speed
Nice tribute to Alex
"League officials are considering a proposal to award a medal named in honour of Alex McKinnon to the man of the match in the City-Country fixture."

Probably going to be unpopular in here, but I think it's too soon to be naming a representative medal after him. Let the bloke recover (to whatever extent that he can), and then think about it. Not yet though.
Also, he's not the first player to have a career ending injury, and won't be the last. Will we see the "Yow Yeh Medal" aswell?
Perhaps the Knights could do an internal award, or even the Man Of The Match in games between the Knights and Dragons?
In no way am I being insensitive to Alex's injury, it's bloody terrible. I just don't think a medal at this time is the way to go.
I reckon he'd feel slightly embarrassed to have a medal named after him.
Yeah fair call that. I wonder if the NRL are worried about Alex suing them in the future and they are trying to butter him up as soon as they can.
