The most straightforward selection of them all.

He was out of this world on Sunday.

Croad (excepting a couple of instances of poor discipline) played quite well on him over the day, but big Fev still kicked 8 (and could have kicked 10).

Singlehandedly kept Carlton in the contest when they should have been belted.

Quality player.

He's my big worry this weekend. Who the flock are Richmond going to get to stand him?!

The only option I can see is to outscore him lol

Barry Hall = 19 games, 284 possessions, 64/32, 168 marks, 37 tackles.

Nick Reiwoldt = 19 games, 316 possessions, 51/30, 179 marks, 16 tackles.

Matthew Pavlich = 19 games, 300 possessions, 53/28, 147 marks, 25 tackles

Methinks CHF will be the most hotly contested position in the whole side working off those figures.

I'll give him credit for the tackling numbers ... Although he plays half his games on a small conjested ground where it is easier to get caught in traffic which can help pad those numbers a bit.

Pav's defensive work is impressive.

I actually expected Pavlich's marks & tackles to be higher than that.

Hall's marks & tackles are excellent, as are Reiwoldt's marks.

Nick is average 9.5 marks per game.

In 2004 he averaged a phenomenal 12 marks per game, which further underlines how ripped-off he was to miss the Brownlow that year.

Hall is a dead certainty at CHF. They may play one of Rievolt or Pavlich in the forward line anyway.

Nathen Bucley would be a chance wouldnt he? Hate the guy but he'd be a chance in some position or another.

Would love to see Fletcher make, that guy is an awesome player. Lucas has really kept us competitive this year as well, a great player.

Buckley is struggling as he won't get a midfield spot and there is no way he'll get a forward spot. Bench spot at the absolute most, but I can't see it. Fletcher won't get in, Rutten will be the FB. Lucas is behind a few CHF'S (Hall, Reivolt, Pavlich). Good season by Lucas but won't get AA.

Yeah agree.

I'd have Ricciuto miles ahead of Bucks...

Small forward might be Ryan O'Keefe. Hall will be CHF. Reiwoldt/Pav bench. Simmo may be on the bench but is going against Lade and Jolly for that spot. Raines might get the rising star but thats about it. Midfield is very hard this year. Judd, Kerr, Riccuto are certainties. The otehrs can all lay claim to be included. Robert Harvey is a darkhorse for AA.

Raines will win the rising star but maybe it will take two years to be AA.. Like deledio will win the Brownlow in 2 years. :D

Hard to see anyone currently in better form that Simmo. Another possible best on ground on the weekend..

Haven't seen much of Pav this year but i think Reiwoldt would be in better form.

Hall is a DEFIANTE for the CHF. Look I don't doubt Simmo. Lade will be a close one though. Rievoldt or Pav will be on the bench. I'll lean towards Pavlich just.

O'Keefe will not make it.

And I don't know why people consider Riccuitto a certainty, as he shouldn't get a gig. He's well behind other midfielders and has been playing up forward for much of the season. He may pinch a HFF spot, I suppose, but selections like that piss me off, as players should get chosen for positions that they play most of the time.

There are at least 4 midfielders (Kerr, West, Goodwin & Cousins) ahead of Judd on form, although his media reputation will probably see him get a wing gig.

Farmer will definitely get a forward pocket spot.

I think Raines has a good show at a BP spot, given that its hardly a position awash with dominant names at the moment.

The HUN had an insteresting piece this morning. Stats wise, Kentucky Fried Whitnall is the top CHB in the league. Didn't even think of him.

Apparently Lade has the most hit outs to advantage - That just means his mids rove his taps better than Richmond's do Simmo.

Simmo has done more around the ground and deserves a bench spot.

Yeah, Whitnall is a show.

They will either run with Clement at CHB, or they'll shift him to a flank and run Whitnall at CHB with someone like Pickett on the other flank.

Tyson Edwards from the crows is a chance
also Trent Hentchshell is a chance also considering he is crows leading goal scorer

After Saturday, it would be an almost certainty that Cox gets the ruck spot, and I think Simmo deserves a bench spot for versatility over Lade.
