I picked the third option because the part where you said "I hate cricket season" definitely appealed to me.

Here I'll say it again for emphasis. Cricket really does blow. The commentators make me want to have a nap. The batsman standing at the crease blocking every ball makes me want to gouge my eyes out. It is a poor, utterly poor substitute for the awesomeness of live NRL. And people who talk about cricket like it means something really rustle my jimmies.

In summary, the All Stars game is the light at the end of a long, dark cricket tunnel.

I like it purely because its footy, but I am not undecided, I love the concept.

The players seem to get into the spirit of the occasion and play the game in great spirit. Always plenty of laughs and smiles regardless of the scoreline and great sportsmanship but still with the mongrel that we all love about league.

Not a fan of the current format. The idea of dividing teams up on the basis of race has never sat well with me. It's a form of sporting apartheid that only seeks to highlight differences.

However, by all means we should keep the concept of a pre-season exhibition match where fans can pick the teams online and there is rule experimentation. But the current format and purpose of the All Star game needs reviewing.

The games have always been exciting to watch so I enjoy it. I especially liked that rule last year where the tackle set restarted after petty infringement, even with the constant switching to the sideline the game didn't seem to stop

Another highlight was Burgess debut in the very first All Stars game, where he smashed Preston Campbell, then ran over and clotheslined Blake Ferguson for taking issue with the tackle on Preston, then not long after he went and knocked out cold Yileen Gordon

Always a great running battle between Gallen and Bird going on as well

I don't know how there's people out there who don't like watching it. The experimental rules aside the games are always good, and it's funny seeing Travis Wadell finding new ways to knock himself out each game :lol:

I do care. I work a lot with the mob and we need positive examples of reconciliation. This is an excellent concept. As to who wins on the day, I couldn't care less. As to who gets selected, I couldn't care less.

This, but i do select my team every year. Mainly just players i like or players i hate the least

Nah I was t trolling, it a dumb concept , it really should be NRL vs ESL.

At the moment it's a whole competition vs one race? Stupid. Segregation at its finest.

Don't care - but it's a sign that proper footy is just around the corner and it helps the indigenous community so I don't I hate it

I have actually never watched the game. I like my sport to have a point. Exhibition games to me is completely uninteresting in any sport.

Have to agree with this. Although I watched the first two, I won't be tuning in again. Same as city v country. Hopefully all players get through the exhibition without major injury.

Preferred the world sevens as it did heaps more to grow the sport internationally.

It is football, with some interesting rule trials. I'm for. But again, it's football. I'm never against football.

I think the concept would work better if it was what it purports to be - An All-Star game. Having one player from one team negates that. What on earth is, say, a Josh Dugan doing playing ahead of Billy Slater in an All-Star game?

Don't have foxtel, so won't watch it. Don't care who wins because I have no connection to the teams. Every year I hear Americans talk about how pointless their various all-star games are, and now we have our one too...

I love all the spastics in here saying they don't care for "exhibition games", but their dick probably busts concrete when State of Origin rolls around each year lol
And I thought SoO was a representative game...
