Anasta

He played with a lot of energy. He and brooks seemed to have more of a roaming liscence. Werent stuck on the left and right like usual. The try he set up and the field goal were both on the left side.

The thing that annoys me about Anasta tonight is that he has vindicated Potter continually picking him. That was the game Anasta was made for, to hold together a leaking boat. He did a good job tonight and as people have said; credit where credit is due.

I just don't think he is our best 5/8 option for all circumstances.....I hope Potter can see that.

Yes credit where credit is due Braith played well,Brooks defence was appalling,Lawrence looks washed up and he is only 25 and Sirro played like his mum again !

After tonight's performance, I'd imagine Anasta would have a mortgage on the #6 jersey. That was probably the best performance I've seen from Anasta and what's really disappointing is knowing that he's capable of playing like that, but rarely seeing him reach those heights. If Anasta played like that week in week out, I'd doubt anyone would be upset with him being our five-eighth.

Gee I hope this was his last game for us. That word 'Anasta' is going to make me angry for years to come.
What a f**kin imposter.

He was actually ok today and very good last week.
Still.....we really need to move forward without him.

Austen keeps surprising and is getting better all the time.

If Austin is to play 5/8 he and Brooks need to play together. Blakes strength is his running and kicking games.

He was our best before injury hit, mind you he did not have much to beat. Must be hard playing 6 and 7 for our mob with no talent outside you

Anasta played alright for his last game in the Tigers #6 jersey, unless he recovers inside a week from his bicep injury. There's really no room for him in the side once origin is over and Farah has been rested.

The most disturbing thing is that the bloke that should have had the jersey all year and was our sole tryscorer today is on the verge of being forced out of the club because he's squeezed between a never was hack and a young player that despite having everyone blow smoke up his arse displayed very little on the field today.

Never one to see a player get hurt but..........is the injury to Anasta the blessing in disguise that we have been waiting for?

Hopefully the Tigers will now settle on Austin at 6 and let he, Brooks and Moses play out the year in the 1, 6 & 7.

Hopefully now we also have all forwards back and Potter can go back and pick the forwards from the start of the season including Gavet included (how did he go today in the NSW Cup?).
