Both will be stood down until investigation complete.

Get the facts straight not just take the ref's word.

Other at the game will be given an opportunity to tell their view of it, unlike the kangaroo court most here are looking for

I just want a sumnary execution every now and then, you know? Is that too much to ask?

I think people should wait until they say why they where upset with the ref.

Not condoning approaching the ref or what they may have said, but I can now understand why they got so upset. Yes, I have been told why, and I will not say it here. Just wait for them to say it.

I have no reason to back either of those two.

The ref says he filmed it. I assume he only came forward after seeing his video. He knows what is on it. I doubt the Fifita brothers have better evidence than that.

I don't think the Sharks what have stood them down lightly.

The 24 yr old ref didn't how to work the recording mechanism on his phone.

Gee that is convenient .

My 5 yr old can do it no worries .

Hope he remembers how to use his weapon. After all a police officer not knowing how to use his weapon is useless.

Would you agree Bunniesman?

Wouldn't the process that Penrith JRL took be the same for anyone? NRL star or not. I don't think its like its a special case or anything. Its not like they are going to be suspended for a year or anything.

You imagine it would have been "leaked" by now. Surely not the dreaded R word?

Wait on, didn't you roast the guy for making a recording earlier? Now that he HASN'T got a recording you are blasting him?

Maybe he did record it but it doesn't show it quite like he has said it happened, so it has been conveniently deleted

If one or both the Fifita brothers are found guilty of threatening to smash the referee then the NRL will have no choice but to ban them for life.
As far as I'm concerned their is no half way house on this matter.

Wait on the bloke had a recording
He even knew the rules about filming in a public place

But now it doesn't exist???

Maybe he accidentally deleted it

Wouldn't count on any of the new's outlets leaking something that will hose this fire down in a minute.

Some f**kers just don't get it. To them it's all a conspiracy to hurt these poor harmless players, the ref must really be a union or AFL supporter out to destroy rugby league.

Well Talkin Sport has made up their mind, guilty.

They're still trying to get a hold of canterbury leagues club to question them about the denial of other teams supporters wearing their teams gear, having difficulties getting through. That or they don't want to talk about their precious bulldogs club unless its about what team they should field this week.

Or maybe the ref contributed in this whole situation spiralling out of control.

i think everyone agrees that the fifita brothers have done the wrong thing and that they deserve a hefty punishment. But just because the fifita brothers have done the wrong thing doesn't mean it clears the ref of any wrong doing. Now that holes have appeared in how this story was originally reported by the media, the conflicting arguments from those that witnessed the event and the fact that the key piece of evidence supporting the refs claim has been erased/never existed means that maybe the situation needs to be investigated more

Wait a second. Let convicted sex offenders and serious violent offenders play on but ban these two for life for a verbal spray IF what the ref says is true?? No physical violence committed?
Yeah, seems legit.

The newspapers are reporting Matt Lodge was involved as well. If he keeps getting involved in on and off field incidents at the same rate as the last 2 years he could rival Anthony Watts as the dumbest NRL player ever.
