Junior is playing Bundy Cup for St Johns (not quite sure why).

Neil Begovich is playing Group 6 with mates as far as I know. Something about having sour graps that Groat made the top grade ahead of him, so he threw it in.

He was playing for the Bulldogs in State Cup.

Form must have warranted a dropping to BRC

AFAIK Begovich decided to put his business first ahead of football. Heard nothing about sour grapes regarding Groat, I really doubt that is true.

I wouldnt be suprised though!! he was more suited to NRL at this stage than Groat and i wouldnt blame him for telling the fonz to f**k orf and pursue a building business that can earn him great money without the BS . Ask Harry from Meriton if it pays ok ;-)

Grant Jones had previously in an interview said Begovich had the potential to be an NRL player but needed to put football ahead of his business to realise his ambitions.

It seems the anti Sheens' brigade will take any opportunity to shift responsibility when really the choice was with the player.

Watching the Storm V Sharks game and one thing is certain.
We dodged a bullet when we offloaded Fatfita.
Overweight and slow, a shadow of his early promise.

Never worried about losing fifita. Woods and BMM were always better young forwards then him. Gibbs on the other hand...

Keith is one of my favourites however both the props we let go have been at the least as good as him this year. They were the starch that was missing from the Tigers '12. The choice not to pick up Mason when we were in trouble earlier in the year was also a stroke of genius!!!

Fifita finished up as a depth player here, Woods had well and truly passed him and Groat was in the team over him. The only reason we are feeling his loss is because we left ourselves short front rowers. If we could keep 1 of Fifita/Woods we definitely made the right call. Letting Gibbs go was just dumb, we persisted with him for years of mediocrity (2006-2008) then mid 09 he started to come good, and by 2011 he was a quality front rower, not to mention well liked across the squad, a club junior with plenty of experience. Getting rid of him was a massive c**k up, and the guy who was meant to replace him was a flop.

Fifita is streaks ahead of groat right now.

Woods is so f**king far ahead of both though.
