He didn't deny it. "“I fully understand and accept the seriousness of the crime committed by Loveridge, the devastating impact it has had on the Kelly family and the need for Loveridge to serve his time,” Fifita said in a statement released by the Sharks.

If it wasn't to do with Loveridge then he wouldn't have 'apologised' for it. Besides, it was clearly a statement straight from the Sharks spin doctors, anyone who's heard him speak can see he can't string two words together let alone a coherent couple of paragraphs.
