Does anybody have a link to somewhere I can see this online? Was a few years ago obviously but figured it must be somewhere.

Thanks in advance if so...

He actually curved one in from several feet behind the goal post, but it was at training and not filmed. (before you ask, he kicked it into a strong wind)

Puig Aubert could do it - but without wind.

He also supposedly kicked a field goal from 68m on the side line (1951 in Australia).

At training huh? Hmm, I honestly thought he did it in a game at some stage. Wind assisted yes but still in a comp game, Newy ahead by a bit & right at the end of the game. Maybe it was a Footy Show thing I've seen & I'm just getting OldTimers... Thanks for the help fella's...

He kicked one from about the 10 metre line on the sideline in a game - or technically after the siren to convert a try. I can't remember the game, but Bill Harrigan was the ref and he has said it was one of the more freakish things he saw as a ref.

Cupid Stunt, I am sure the great man did it in some sort of training thing hey ... you might want to contact Johns Magic. I know the footage you speak of, I am certain it wasn't a game, it was more something for "kicks and giggles" where he did s### you will never see this life time. Similar to one of my all-time heros, Eric Cantona (Manchester United great, he did things at training that players said you would pay to watch).

Don't know where footage would be, but from what I can remember, it was against the Warriors at Ericsson in 2003 (?), right sideline, 10m out, bending it the wrong way for a right-footed kicker. Pretty sure it wasn't on the telecast but a camera in the grandstand did catch it.

Would like to see it myself tbh.

From what I've been told you could hear Bill say something like "bullsh*t Joey there is no way you can kick this"
