We all select to follow particular clubs for different reasons, we all have different backgrounds but we have one thing in common, our love for the game. I’m thankful that our clubs name isn’t synonymous with the words cheats and dodgy. How does it feel to be known as the Rorters by all other clubs and supporters.
Winning a title must feel so hollow because no one in the NRL community places any value on your clubs honesty and sportsmanlike conduct, as fairness, courtesy and being a good sport. I’d prefer our club to do it the honest way because at least after we win, we can stand tall and proud of our true honest achievements and hard work. That’s why our win in 2014 is one of the most memorable in the history of Rugby League and was worth more and will be remembered more than your previous 13 titles.
In Australia people support the bloke who works hard to get to the top not the bloke who buys his way to the top. It’s always been the Australian way but your owner wouldn’t understand that would he.

2005 was better. A team of rejects, rookies and journeymen combined to take down competition heavyweights in the semis and win it all.

2014 was just another example of chequebook rugby league striking the jackpot.
