Where I work we are looking at getting the eels to make an appearance at an event to do some coaching clinics with kids, which they have done annually for many years, but the deal is being held up by the new coach, Kearney, as he doesnt understand why they have to do community work as nobody in afl does it in victoria. They dont do charity work, they have just as many if not more cringe-worthy incidents AND they get a free ride in the press compared to NRL?
