I'm saying it's a given they will suffer more at Parra than anywhere else

Who was the last established first grader we signed that actually performed better for us than they did their previous club?

Could make an argument for Brad Takairangi, and Reece Robinson (from his 2014 form) for this year alone.

Peats?

I didnt have to dig too far into the past did I?

(Peats had 50+ FG games for Souths prior to coming here)

Could make an argument for Brad Takairangi, and Reece Robinson (from his 2014 form) for this year alone.

You could also make the argument that these players are not playing better at Parra than what they did at previous clubs.

If Isaac Luke played for Parra in 2014 and 2015, I dare say Nathan Peats wouldn't have played as much first grade.

On the Pauli / Sandow tackle, he said that at the Eels we'll be looking at doing more of it. It was not late (in his opinion) and (I'm paraphrasing) said that it happens all the time and would not be an issue today in the Johns Bros did not go on about it and ratings grab. He inferred that Soward was soft.

Danny Wicks had a bit to say about Soward as well: R12 In the Sheds - Danny Wicks

What are you trying to say?

They are not good enough for a senior leader like him.

For the past 10 yrs, he has average a lot more mins, more hit ups and more tackles.

He has been poor most of the year, I expected this bloke to toughen us up and perhaps bring his experience to a side that hasn't got much in terms of blokes who have a lot of games under their belts

He got replaced twice last night, that;s not the Choc Watmough we have seen for all of his career.

He is not a middle player, he is a left edge forward who creates opportunities for our outside backs like he did at manly and plays 80 mins.

Putting him in the middle will only burn him out like Hindy.

He's been playing in the middle the last 3 or 4 seasons. He's 31 and played nearly 300 games of first grade. He was always a risk, but I thought he would at least add plenty This season and next. So far he's been a failure, i do think he has been playing busted all season but he did last year and offered Manly plenty more.

You are right, Horo was playing that left edge when he went there and Choc moved to the middle as Glen Stewart was on the right.

On the whole he's been a dud, how good will he be in year 4????

I agree with both of you. As I have stated he will go down as the worst buy since Adam Dykes. He has had 2 good games in 13. Just not good enough. So far he has been Arthur's biggest mistake.

I only hope Choc has a better 2nd half to the year and starts playing out of his skin.

Look at the Dragons and Broncos.

McGregor benched Creagh who has been a loyal servant and captain of that club for many years and it looks like it's worked for Creagh with an extension for 2016

Thiaday got dropped by Bennett, now playing Origin

Perhaps Choc should start from the bench for a game or 2?
