But then players could lose form going into the semis and you mightn't have the confidence running into the semis as a team that started off a bit slowly and then got better as the season wore on.

The only thing i would judge choc on last yr would be his straight out toughness he played 90% of the season busted,he would come out of most tackles with his arm hanging down then be in the there next tackle.

Its going to be tough for all the forwards to get a spot with this pack but really looking forward to him playing fit.

I love Choc and his toughness.

Do not underestimate the impact he has had on our young forwards.

However i have a massive feeling he will give his all this year and then possibly retire. If he doesn't retire this year, next year will def be his last. He will not see out his full contract.

We will look after him and possibly give him a coaching role. Would be a great forwards coach.

If we don't beat all those teams way below us we are in no position to be battling those other teams on the fringe of the 8 to get a semi final birth

Wow.

I dont actually think he had a bad 2015. I thought he was fairly good and only problem was trying to do too much early on. He was obviously busted. I truely think he gave alot of our guys a lesson in toughness.

Tbh this is prob best for parra too. If hes going to struggle with injury now its no good for anyone ... and freeing up some cash is gonna be of great benefit. I think we should now proceed to believe he was on 800k a season and dream of what we can do with that

at this stage it's going to take monumental effort to keep JP at the club but this may help.
