Sounds like his work here is finished. It's win-win for everyone.

I think if he gets a payout then his pay out should count to the cap...... Loop hole if it doesn't.

Also that was an expensive 16 games. Perhaps the most expensive player of all time.
Personally if a player can not play i do not see how they are entitled to have their contract paid out. If they hurt it playing for the club then it should be covered by insurance. It was an existing injury thou. So i am finding it very hard to understand.

BTW Pou how is it win win for us if we have to pay him2 million.Forget if it counts against cap or not. Still means we paid over 2.5million for what AVENGER from day one called a has been!

It's about time we started benefiting from loopholes like all the strong clubs do. That's good management and stuff.

Because this has-been was key to changing our club culture and ability to compete. How much is that worth?

Hindy , if you spent more time reading about our club and less about the Riff, you would know that if he is injured and could not complete his playing contract there is an insurance claim, which does not count against the cap or the club

No doubt if Beesting Head had nepmentioned it in Twitter, it would be fine :)

Gee watmough is like a magic potion.16 games and he completely changes your clubs culture. WOW- I wonder if you drank his piss. You would perhaps be able to fly to the moon and back?

Personally i would of thought the coach -club management and coaching staff would set what standards they expect and club culture.
But hey i am just some dumb bogan from penrith:lol:

Now someone get me a glass of warm piss

He didn't just turn up on game day and play the games, don't forget the 2 pre-seasons he has been with us and the training days during the week.

Our club culture has changed in the players we have kept.
BA and DA deserve credit for this. DA started this when he was here in his first stint. Cleared out guys like Mateo and INU.

Look at a few guys we have kept or signed - Kaysa-Terepo-Tepai-Alvaro-Manu-Semi-De gois-Scott-KE-Gower-wicks-taka-GORDON....
All these guys have something in common-BALLS and toughness.

We let sandow-lussick-Pauli-Hoppa go and they all had one thing in common. Pea hearts....Perhaps a little harsh on Hoppa. He was just after $$$

Give some of these individuals/players we have signed or kept credit for the type of men they are!!

Hindy, you haven't mentions that the Riff have lost their CFO and CEO under unusual circumstances within a week , wven though the CFO was promoted into the CEO position

Club in crisis, got yourself in order, lose points etc etc

Where are th Pe press now, in the Duke's pocket, or basically little interest in the club

Last year Watmough couldn't wait to leave training and head home. His heart wasn't in it. Regardless of the reasons, That's not great for the culture of the place.

- A master stroke " Golden Duke ". Even under bad circumstances he is able to shine the spotlight elsewhere. Now this is a class act on his behalf.
He did the same in the Idris situation. Great experience
