I don’t think Griffin will be disliked by all from day dot. I think he is the kind of personality that wears people down, you know super controlling wants everything done his way. Every ones had a boss like that, you don’t start out hating them it’s just ends up that way after a period of time.

Moylan and hook obviously got along initially or Moylan wouldn’t of been made captain. But obviously the relationship broke down.

I’d say that’s how it goes with a lot of people who don’t get on with hook. It’s not instant dislike but eventually they get there.

Adding to the frustration of any players is the restrictive grinding style he wants to play which would get real boring after a while.

He’s not a terrible person, he’s just a lttle difficult and annoying but after one, two or three years a little becomes a lot.

I think this is very accurate. makes sense how hook says him and gus' relationship was very strong at the start, and deteriorated later on.

He probably is, he wants to coach Nathan now. Honestly he’d know their chances are limited, nrl and coaching careers can end at anytime and the average career for player or coach is tiny. If you have chance now rather than two years time you take it. Honestly 2021 is just a back peddle from the backlash imo.

Anyway I’m not half as fussed about keeping Nathan as most of our fans but I’m fairly keen to have Ivan back, I rate him higher than most of our fans, he knows our squad and he almost got us to a gf with a much worse squad. He can get our current team over the line imo. There’s probably a young coach who could do it better but which one is it? There’s a lot of highly rated assistants that bombed. If Ivan wants to comeback and it secures Nathan I don’t blame the club for trying it on.

All that being said If I’m being honest the whole father coaching son thing I think is probably just a distraction an nrl team is better off without .

He’ll address it all. I think he’ll be looking to score points though, a lot of what hook said would’ve hurt Gould’s pride.

Well if he comes out swinging it just adds fuel to the fire, a guy like buzz is going to use anything Gould says to stir shit. We are better off shutting up shop a little bit and playing the long game. There’s enough former players bagging hook now that people will understand.

It’s the move for Cleary that really pissed people off, if we had of just dumped hook and appointed a caretaker there wouldn’t be half the shitstorm.
