Anyone who can’t admit hooks not well liked by a lot of his players are just kidding themselves. There’s enough evidence, we just fired him because they wouldn’t play for him.

Funny that it’s mainly the 3 or 4 forum member who absolutely rubbished eevery rumour the last year, most of which are proven true who still won’t believe anything. Why don’t you guys asked the masked panther?? I heard he’s reliable LOL.

Last year the players knew he only had a year to go. Before he extended.

This year they could have told them he's gone after this season.

If the players love the club. A year with a coach they dont isnt a long time. Especially when they could very well hate the next coach more

There will always be players that don't get on with all. I don't see how the board would justify a $1m+ payout. If it was so toxic

I trust the board not to waste mine and other members money by re-signing a universally hated coach.

I am sure everyone on here doesn't like every person. So of course it happens but to the extent who knows

Hopefully the reason everyone is resigning is that there is a very strong bond amongst the players.
I think they want to play together and that is also the reason I think Nathan will stay at Penrith.

I think Nathan told his dad he won’t be going to Tiger town and that has spurred Ivan into some irrational contract quitting thoughts.

As to the resigning of Griffin last year I bet it was an automatic contract upgrade built into his initial contract for making the top 8

Most have kids so their wives and GF's would be close and helps but is it greater than hating someone.

Imagine if all of them said they won't re-sign til he goes? Surely that nullifies such a contract clause

Well Gus said he fought the board on it because he thought he could help fix the situation which led to his re-signing.

Look at what the other clubs boards have done recently, in particular parra, tigers and the dogs. If you think rugby league club boards always make good decisions than I don’t know what to say.

He’s obviously not well liked, universally hated are your words.

.

The problem with is I find it hard to believe they are in the top 4 without the players respecting the coach.
It just doesn't happen. They might not have loved him but to have a team in the top 4 and to have a team improve as much as they have done in the last 2 years is not a reflection of the coach losing the dressing room.

I have only heard parts of the Griffin interview but it was reasonably consistent with why Luke Phillips left the Panthers. Based on that and the improve of Penrith I think Gould is lying through his teeth

Let's use a round figure. Say 10 don't like him. Throw in Moylan that is 11 players. Why would the board back the coach and get rid of Moylan over the coach? So there is more to the story. That is all I am saying

I don't even care anymore. I've argued till my head is done in and it's feeling pretty lonely. Now I've seen Panthers fans agree with other fans so I'm just done.

Well no matter what side you sit on. The approach to Ivan doesn't look good on the club

Gone backwards in the last 2 years really apart from a brief mid year run this year our football has been f**king awful

Maybe Daz will know which one it was?
The trouble here is that those still at the club might circle the wagons and attempt to rewrite history in order to cast those with power at the club in a favourable light.
