That's before considering the vastly superior resources he had.

His gameplans are fine and Gus controls the squad not the coach.

We have out scored them the last 2 seasons though.. They can only defend.

That second part is our issue... The coach should pick the squad just not know what the players are on or how the cap sits

Watch their backline moves. Our much better backline would be a force of destruction under that structure. His current backline has nothing on ours.

This is all pointless because I'm 90% certain that there are only two coaches who Gus will have here within the next 5 years.

Cameron Ciraldo: According to the Sunday footy show one of if not the highest paid coaches in the game who tried to quit twice and Gus talked him out of it. There is clearly a lot of faith in him as a coach.

Ivan Cleary: Nathan's dad who is a reasonable coach in his own right.
