I thought it was pre-recorded,as he wasn't seen during the pre-match yap. Griffin was complimentary towards Penrith. And he noted what they needed to do in the Pen V Warr game.So no,it wasn't a whinge-a-thon.

And in fact,it would be a nice touch if Griffin could become a guest of the Panthers club on the night if we won a GF.

Didn't expect any drama although Ennis seems to dislike us this year.

You boys wouldn’t have a clue about how the players felt about him. It’s a very convenient arguement though.

In the very limited time I had dealings with him, he seemed like a good bloke. Maybe that’s why I feel empathy for the bloke. I know a couple of people who have a similar opinion to me who dealt with him on a semi regular basis. None players in fairness. I don’t think it’s fair to assassinate someone’s character based on a few rumours & a few players who had an axe to grind.

I wouldn’t do that to anyone. Except Umina, Mx & Fangs.

All that lot on Fox have to go with the Fox mindset due to the unsettled bullshit between Rothfield and Gus. A couple of weeks ago on Matt Johns Comedy Show, you could see how much Johns and the others on his show had their hands tied in sticking it to Penrith. Really pathetic how Johns and co have sold their souls to the devil.

Like I've said before I personally know players that have played under him and I trust what they say. 1 in particular worked for me for over a year and he's the best dude you'd ever meet. The word arrogant comes up over and over in regards to Hook

Have met him before as well, very nice guy. Liked him better than Ivan. Haven't worked with him though.

He is not well liked by the players. Its not a rumour anymore.

Was definitely live. Just as Vonny cut to the break, Hook appeared standing next to the desk like a spectre. After the break Hook and Ennis were on their own little table like kids at a wedding.

Wasn't initially a fan of the timing re the sacking. 2017/18 off-season made more sense.

But at what point do we agree that it was 100% the right decision? A grand final win? Or will a semi win against our hard-nosed rivals the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks suffice? I choose the latter because in no world could Hook pull one over them in a semi-final.

A win this week for me.

Old man Griffin must be proud of his team.

Some older players came on great, Waqa, Kikau, JFH.

Young fellas are doing thier job and the key signing stood up.

Gus thinks no hope, Griffin's team gives themselves a chance.

So do I, he assembled a good team.

Why does it matter whether its right, wrong or somewhere in the middle? We have what we have and we are where we are. Wasting time and energy looking back won't win you a comp.

He nearly pulled one over them at Penny Park when we played them with our NSW Cup side. Imagine if he actually got a chance with a full first grade team? 40 - 0 win IMO.

It is funny though, two weeks ago everyone was saying there's no way possible for Ciraldo to influence this team & doesn't have the time to change the team & anything that happens from here is on or due to Hook etc. etc.... Two wins later & those people have miraculously changed their opinion! Well i'll be damned! It's a miracle!

Ciro didnt turn the season around himself... he did something Hook refused to do in order to turn our season around.. He has reached out to legends of our club. He is willing to get help and learn from other people.

No way we turn our season around without those massive changes. In 4 weeks with no pre-season or breaks or anything he has done reasonably well to improve our season. Not because he's a great coach. But because he is not a stubborn merkin who refuses to accept help or change what needs changing. He will without doubt continue to improve as a coach if he continues onthis path himself. We're incredibly lucky to have so many great players giving up their time to help him. If nothing else that shit can only fire the players up.

It was always the right decision, the timing could've been better(by about 12 months) but hook was never going to get near premiership, his entire career he has a struggled to beat top sides.

The difference in the way we played this week to hooks footy was immense. Our backline was set deep and wide when in good field position all the time rather than being compressed and flat all the time, the kicking game has improved out of sight.

If we had of trained this way all season we'd have a real slick looking attack with a veteran half running the show and good aggressive defence. Just a few weeks without hook and we already seeing kicks from Nathan weve never seen before.

MX beat me to it. I think if Griffin brings in the same help we have similar improvement.

My time and energy will have absolutely no impact on our results in 2018. For I am Fangs and this is a thread on Anthony Griffin.

Seen improved kicking games in plenty of players away from Hook. It's unbelievable to think we had 2 great kicking options who were limited in what they were allowed to do.

Didn't get tackled on last either once on Saturday.

Hook was a coach whod rather meekly hand possession over to the other side on last rather than make it contest for the ball because handing it over is lower risk.
