I don’t mind Barrett but that would be a backward step IMO... I’d rather go Brennan than Barrett. But if Hook is gone, I’d go for Toovey personally but that’s

But I’m sticking with Hook regardless, he’s here now, we’ve got the roster, injury curse has lessened alot of late, starting to get almost full strength, just need everyone fit and firing and we can shake things up in 2018.

I don't think Manly could afford the payout either. Apparently ther'e poorer than church mice.

Exactly, hence the reason that I am not bothered by them going.

If they were here other players wouldn't be in our top 30 due to the nature of the salary cap so they'dmore thatn likely be in the top 17 as they aren't competing for those spots. On current form I'm happy with how our roster has worked out of course.

If Moylan was here and Maloney wasn't. We would be saying no way does Maloney make this team on his current form.

Hell on current form, if Maloney, Tamou, Merrin, CHN, Katoa and Leota were at other clubs we would be saying it about them all. They're all playing bad footy at the moment.

You could make a case for the same applying to Peachey, Cleary, JFH, Hetherington and May/Egan also... not for being in bad form but for not being in great form. Just playing average footy.

We had everyone in great form a few months back. But now we have a stronger 17 out there we aren't close to as good with the form of many players being down. We have time to get it right. But we shouldn't be playing this badly with our current 17 this far into the season.

You could forgive the attack being rusty. But this defence is unforgivable..the attitude we had just isn't there at the moment.

Haven’t even read if properly but anything published on news.com is always going to be highly sensationalised. There can be truth in it for sure but the writers always put a lot of opinion in their articles.

I don’t think Barrett is the answer and it’s hard to imagine Gus ‘opening up’ on any issues at the club unless he was doing it to send some kind of message to someone.
