None of us are in the meeting. 4 weeks out from the finals any changes won't happen until the off season regardless of what happens today

No I don't think Daz is making it up. He knows someone in the club and he's been alerted that something is going on. If you've got the board present and they are being asked to consider an outlay of over a million dollars more or less on the spot, where the same thing happened previously, I'd expect they'd look for ways to avoid that outcome, like getting the lads to kiss and make up if that's what it is.

I could definitely see that happening.

So if Daz was right about the meeting then there’s obviously an issue even if hook survives.

Equal 4th= mediocre. Right. Even the Broncos would be happy with that.

I think we all agree that 3 years of finals in a row and equal fourth is pretty good. But Gus sees what goes on behind the scenes every day and he mustn't be convinced that Hook can take us all the way. From an onlookers perspective he comes across as an old fashioned coach. Boring ho hum tactics until we get behind and then we let the players express themselves. Under Hook, tactics don't seem to be a part of his armoury. Gus is a thinker, he must watch the games and spot where our tactics are wrong and just fume.

On the plus side, he gets in the heads of the players and makes them bleed for the club. Gasnier himself said, and lets be clear, he rarely says anything good about the Panthers, he has never seen a team come back as often and as well as the Panthers. He has them fitter than any team and he has given multiple young players opportunities. Hook has moulded the raw material into a seasoned team, now they need the polish and if Gus doesn't think we will ever win with Hook in charge then he has to do what is right.

Thank god for that. I don’t like seeing someone lose their job but I can’t help but be happy with that. Questions need to be asked why we didn’t do it last year and keep moyza.
