I'm confident Cleary could win a premiership. Certainly I think he's come closer with lesser teams than Griffin has with better. Under Griffin we started a season as premiership favourites and then ended it by limping out of the finals and losing our 2 most talented juniors since Freddy.

You silly person. I'm talking about the 20 million academy for starters.

The rich leagues club. W/T bumbling along with clapped out training facilities. Needing loans from NRL to stay afloat.

You might have a loan,or you rent
But I have neither
Look after #1 I say...your club is still in PENRITH....that’s the problem

So Gould again sacks a coach mid contract and through the season who he personaly BROUGHT to the club and declaring " they're the man for the job!"....so when is he held accountable for his bad judgement?
Quite Trump like isn't it?

I don’t care who was right or wrong in predicting this. I care about whether or not it was the right decision for the club.

You can’t deny it suggests poor management. Extending the guy last year then sacking him four weeks out from the finals in a year that has, on the whole, been relatively successful. Could you ever imagine a club like Melbourne, the Roosters or Broncos doing something like this?
On the contrary, the Roosters sack coaches on a regular basis even with years left on their contract. Anderson, Smith, Stuart, Fittler. I see no difference from them. In fact, I suspect Gus learned this from Politis.

Like you, I want the right decision for the club. If it is the right decision then I support it 100%. As long as they have treated Hook fairly from a financial basis, then that's coaching. You get paid big dough because it is high risk. Very few coaches last more than a few years.

He has flaws, but we’re currently the best placed club is western Sydney and are turning out first graders like we never have before so his positives outweigh his negatives.
