On the contrary, the Roosters sack coaches on a regular basis even with years left on their contract. Anderson, Smith, Stuart, Fittler. I see no difference from them. In fact, I suspect Gus learned this from Politis.

If you listen to Gus's podcasts, he admires Jack Gibson as a coach. Jack always advocated moving on after 3 years because you become stale.

Well whatever hard feelings he may have had him coaching Nathan at penrith is a better result for both Ivan and Nathan than the two joining up at wests. Nathan stays with his mates and gets to be half back for a much more talented squad and Ivan gets to coach that more talented squad.

Oh ok, I misunderstood.

I’m hoping this week we see a few little things like more variation in the kicking game and more depth at certain times.

Most of our problems on the field are attitude, getting a coach that is liked will improve that.
We just need discipline and to let our playmakers play footy with out micrommanaging the game plan.

Here's hoping we see what our guys are truly capable of now.

I dont expect any scenario short of Storm forfeiting will get us 2 points against them. But we have a couple of easy games where there are no excuses for not putting in for 80 minutes.

If this was what the coaching staff and players wanted anyway. Now's their chance to prove it.
