We are by far the best placed team in western Sydney, it’s a good spot to be in.

They need to get this appointment right for sure but we are very well positioned right now.

This roster was built for Gus/Hook. You can't sign a coach to get a comp win than tie his hands in regards to roster and support staff appointments. He needs to do his thing how he wants

Given Hook's sacking was no doubt weeks in the making I am sure Gus has been well prepared for the media storm (including social media) which was going to erupt.

I think Anthony Griffin is entitled at the very least to put his side of what has transpired given Gus and the club have publicly outlined the reasons for his sacking.

He is not the most animated of individuals so even if he does unload on Gus and the club it may not come across that way.

Looking forward to hearing what he has to say it should be interesting one way or the other.

He deserves some recognition for building the squad of capable juniors who are now first graders.

I think Anthony Griffin was part of a team (Gould, Brennan, Ciraldo & others) that developed the juniors you are referring too. He contributed, but it was a team effort, in some instances the process had begun before he arrived at the club.

And cheap housing with bogans everywhere..
Penrith a shit area.......so keep dreaming of a better life.
People who follow RL from the Balmain area left years ago. Moreso the same around the inner city areas such as Lidcombe,Ashfield, etc. They sold up and bought bigger, cheaper and better houses in Penrith,Campbelltown,Blue Mountains. They saw the light in having a better home, and much better lifestyle.

Go one time and spend a weekend in Penrith and notice how laid back the people are before you judge what you haven't experienced,as you'll be pleasantly surprised. And it's only an hour from Sydney.

One of my sisters live in Balmain another in Lilyfield. Old school rugby league fans may have left but there remains strong support for the tigers in the region, kids especially.

True but hook had to go regardless, we were already losing staff and were going to lose players. No big changes will be made imo, the team picks its self.

On NRL360 last night Pascoe said he was sacked by Panthers.

We Probably asked him to resign when it was reported he was talking to the tigers.

Morally the tigers don’t have a leg to stand on. Legally sure they do, but the tigers have shit on any contracts that they didn’t like so this moral stance is a laugh.
