Any news on Albert Kelly??

At the moment, Kelly is still 50 - 50. As of Sunday his uncle was saying that he would like him to remain at the club because they have looked after him with regards to personal leave, travelling, housing, etc. His cousin Greg is still talking to him and Brian Waldron is now looking into this as the Sorm have some spare money now that Finch and Tomane are not there in 2010 as well as Will Chambers.

With regards to Stags, I know one of the kids he is talking about from the 20's as being resigned just last Saturday.

Another oustanding 20's player has not been made a contract for next year and I was surprised to hear we haven't made this kid a contract.

Young Tim Auermi is progressing well with his season ending injury as well.

And what happens if Kelly moves to the storm, then Ingliss moves a year or two later and he is there by himself ?

We seem to be his only safe bet.

Melbourne tried to get KK back in the day as well. They obviously come in and pay overs for Juniors.

According to Gillis (Alberts Manager) 5 Clubs are chasing Albert Kelly. Anderson said yesterday that we had put in a reasonable offer for Albert Kelly so hopefully he'll stay.

Best thing for Albert is to stay here where he is closer to his Family. I hope makes the right choice. He'll get his chance in first grade here quicker than any other club.
