If you judge fights solely on who was closer to ending it, Diaz wins with his combinations in the 3rd. Shame he spent the other 23 minutes of the match getting hammered on his back.
thats idiotic... no one would do that...
the debate we are having is over GSP's grappling. i called it lay and pray... frailty was pointing out how technical he is on the ground.
theres no doubt about how the fights are judged... control is a very important aspect of it... and GSP is the master of top control.
but as ive tried to point out... IMO he is very defensive and is limited in what he actually does on the ground.
but what he actually does do... he does excellently.
i just dont rate him in the top echelon of grapplers.
