One card was a joke. There cant be any outrage that Jones won, it was an extremely close fight. Rematch for sure.

Jones very lucky to escape with the belt, but credit to him for sticking around, Gustaffson could have dropped him many times.

One thing this confirms to me... Jon Jones will stay the f**k away from HW.

He just doesn't have the power to cut it at that weight... And he will come up against guys who are his size but with far more power...

The chin on Gustafson was incredible. Can't believe he didn't get stopped after some of the shots he took.

On another note, I notice Jones really went after the knee with those slicing kicks trying to hyper extend the knee, I think Rogan called it elliptical kicks, anyone else cringe every time he threw it expecting Gustafson legs to cave in?

What an amazing f**king fight, those guys gave every drop of blood and sweat they had to give in that octagon.

Personally I had Gustafsson winning 1 2 and 3 with Jones winning 4 and 5 but the first two rounds were close enough to go either way. Hardly a robbery, but those are the kinds of fights that change lives and careers forever. You really have to feel for Gustafsson to come so close but walk away empty handed.

These guys are both still 26, they will find their way into the octagon together again. Mad respect to both of those guys for putting on the best fight in the UFC this year, and contender for best title fight of all time.

I am not a huge fan nor do I follow MMA sports at all to be honest but I watched a doco about Mark Kerr last night and it was enthralling. Seems he could have been anything too. Totally broke the stereotype of what I think a fighter is as well.
