Based on the logic used in this thread, Flanno is a better coach than Bellamy this week.

Ha
So has green FFS
Better squad - best player in the world helps
Better facilities

Yet that doesn't come into the equation when comparing to our coach?

They have Thurston, yes. However, our forward pack is right up there with their forward pack. Our backline is hardly lacking nowadays either. Our 2 obvious weaknesses are Leutele and Feki.

Better Facilities? How so?

The fact of the matter is you don't see Cowboys turning up with half assed performances. The Sharks however are inconsistent. They could turn up to play like last night, or they may not just like against Manly.

So based on your comment, you believe Flano is doing a good job based on what he has to work with (players available and our apparent lack of facilities).

I'm not a Flanno fan, but credit where credit is due.

Last week, our attack was forwards. Edges weren't getting the ball, and Val may not as well played. This was addressed this week.

The ball made it to the fringes and Val was often infield getting his hands on the ball (example - the Townsend try). Unfortunately, he had a shocker of a game and let tries go begging.

I think Flanno could use help on attacking structures, but again - credit where credit is due.

Even when we win you dopes still accuse the coach of f**king up.
Sook about backs not seeing the ball
They had it all night
Sook about no long range trys
Both our trys were long range

The fact is they held the storm scoreless for 62 minutes last night.

Our coach gave them a game plan and it worked .
First set of 6 was to smash them and unsettle them.
They did perfectly.
Yet you merkins cannot work that out
You call it a shit performance from the storm.
Yeah it was because the sharks forced them into a shit performance .

I never accused the coach of anything this week, I only said I saw glimpses of some great play. The previous week I was very critical of him though, warranted though.

Sharks definitely out played Storm last night, no argument there. Where did I say that the Storm played bad? We were in their face all night in defense which forced alot of errors, it's a great change from previous weeks where we sit back and let the other team go the length of the field every set of 6. I was amazed at how many times they were caught out on the last tackle last night.

I would put last night down as the first game of the year where we played well which is why we won.

For those that want to sack him who do you want to replace him with?

You never sack someone unless you know there is someone better who actually wants to coach at the Club.

For the record I was very iffy on the Townsend signing and he wasn't chased hard by any opposition clubs but Flanno was determined to get him back.

It's looking like a masterstroke now as he is in career best form at the Sharks.

Flanno strikes again!
