Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

For those that want to sack him who do you want to replace him with?

You never sack someone unless you know there is someone better who actually wants to coach at the Club.

For the record I was very iffy on the Townsend signing and he wasn't chased hard by any opposition clubs but Flanno was determined to get him back.

It's looking like a masterstroke now as he is in career best form at the Sharks.

Flanno strikes again!

Well theres plenty I would prefer. Unfortunately I don't have access to agents or the coaches themselves so unless they flat out tell the media I cant tell you who wants to coach us.

Townsend would still be a Warrior if it wasn't for his mother in law. Don't kid yourself its a Flanno masterstroke. The masterstroke would have been having the balls to blood the kid instead of sticking with Robbo in the first place.

So his mother in law signed him to the Sharks?

Ok..............

^100%

Same as Bird getting picked last year at 6. No master stroke. Courtesy of Wade throwing a last gasp intercept that lost the game.

You're kidding aren't you?

You really do come up with some ridiculous comments.

no I'm not kidding.

Omg flano won a game. Quick sign him for 25 years.

In all seriousness, I saw glimpses of some great play. Now imagine we had an attacking coach to bring this type of play consistently every week.
The old backhanded compliment trick.
Blame the coach because Val shit himself against the Storm with the line open?
Maybe the coach knows this and that is why he has Barba at 1.
Very shrewd of the coach IMO.

To be fair to Brown, we have a much much better squad than the Knights
Who put that squad together?

The fact of the matter is you don't see Cowboys turning up with half assed performances. The Sharks however are inconsistent
um they are on 4 points too ....der.

So based on your comment, you believe Flano is doing a good job
as good as Green and better than Brown ..it's like a rainbow.

hahahaha

can chads mum in law have a word to Anthony Milford and Matt Scott for us as well

the lengths some here go to for a pissweak slap at flanno is getting funnier

Yeah can people stop stating facts to continue bagging Flanno

Townsend is resuming his NRL career where it began, in the Shire. The Warriors granted the 25-year-old a compassionate release so that his girlfriend could spend more time with her ill mother in Sydney.
"That was the main reason why I wanted to move back to Sydney and I made that clear to the Warriors from day one," he said.
"I was really honest and upfront, told them it was for personal reasons and I'm happy to be back at the Sharks.
"[The Warriors] actually really wanted me to stay and I felt that was a compliment, they noticed the stuff I was doing on the field and that they valued me as a member of their club.
"That made the decision harder but it was the right decision and I'm happy at the moment."

Carch you're beginning to become hardly worth the effort to reply to, really.

I said we played well and wished we could see that play every week. It's a well known fact we are inconsistent.

Holmes is not on the wing because he has bad hands. He has amazing hands, the commentators even said that last night. But hey, if you think that's the reason Holmes is playing on the wing and especially because you can and will find absolutely anything you can to say ''oh it's because flano is a great coach and you guys are a bunch of merkins'' than go right ahead.

Do you think Brown in his first season put that squad together? I doubt that. *EDIT* Oh you mean the sharks squad? Flanos biggest attribute is his ability to get players here. Unfortunately getting the best out of these players has not been one his best attributes.

I'm not sure what your point is stating Cowboys are also on 4 points? They turn up to play every week, we don't. Can you not understand that???

IMO, the best 3 sides to date are the Broncs,Cowboys and Parra.

Cowboys lost 2 close games to the other two best teams. They turn up to play for sure.

well stop quoting me FFS.

Holmes is on the wing because he is inexperienced in first grade.
Barba has been there and done it all before.
That is why the coach is easing Holmes into it.
Can you really not work that out?

2 wins and 2 losses = 4 points
no matter how close the game was.

Do they give out trophy's for the team that nearly won the most games now?
If they did we'd have heaps of trophy's.

You're one of those guys that thinks if we beat the Dragons by 20 points, and the Dragons beat the Broncos by 40 points, than we will beat the Broncos by 80 points.

4 point is 4 points, very clever. But that's where it ends with you.

You're unable to look at how the 4 points came about, it's just 4 points yeah? Who cares how we got them. Why would that matter.

hang on
20 + 40 = 60

We had one ordinary game for a loss
2 good wins
1 close loss against the premiers in round 1

Are we on 4 points or 6?

No that's not where I was going with that example.

In my opinion (no need to get your back up about this, it's purely my opinion), we had 1 good win, last night. And that''s exactly my point, you think the win against the Dragons was a good win. I saw that win as the Dragon defeating themselves.

The masses of people on social media saying we played so well to smash the Dragons is laughable, in my opinion.

I think I've got it now...
So... we got 2 points for the Dragons winning against themselves .
and
20 + 40 = 80?
but
The Cowboys 4 points equal 8 points in reality.
and
The Sharks 4 points in reality equal 2 points on account of the Dragons big win over themselves?

I liked the old days when 20 + 40 = 60
...and 4 = 4.

Says he wanted to go back to Sydney?

How many clubs in Sydney?

Haters going to hate......

So lets discard the idea it was a flanno masterstroke to sign him. The fact he is a local junior is the reason he is here. He loves the club. Never wanted to leave in the first place. The fact is he had to leave because of the coaches love of the handbrake Robbo forced him out of here in the first place.
