Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

People calling for him to be sacked are idiots.

I am a Flanno convert after hearing his half time advice.

Run harder.

Confidence boosting simple stuff. Brilliant.

Please.

"Run Harder"

How about - use the f**king pill.

Credit where it's due - they put on some good attacking footy - but that set inside their 20 in the first half is 90% of the reason people get up Flanno (drug saga aside).

No one wants to watch that pissant footy any longer when you've got the attack that we saw used with some of the tries scored today.

This is exactly right. Our attack on their try line in the first half was non existent. When you are inside the opposing teams 10m line there is absolutely zero reason to give it to a forward for a hit up, but that's what we do. This is why Flano cops it in here.

Back in the day when we didn't have the attacking options we have now, Flano could be forgiven for the grinding style of play. But that time is over, we need to evolve and learn how to attack.

Our attack at this stage is basically give the ball to Barba, Holmes, Chad, or Bird and let them work their magic. Other than that, our attacking structure is one of the worst in the league...

The attack still needs work, especially the first 20 minutes. They should of put 50 on them today and with some poor ref calls . I'm with Bwaith and Paul Kent. This team if fit and firing can win the comp. No excuses.

You mistake valid criticism of aspects of our play with being unhappy.

No one is unhappy after a win, if these guys put together 80 minutes of slick footy, they can beat anyone and thats on the coach :p

Nice spray on the bunker by SuperCoach.

5 games in, new 6&7, and looking pretty good at 3 wins and 2.

No, I think it would be a little silly to sack him now.

Exactly. Nice to see him animated actually. Didn't go on like a goose a la toovs, but got the point across well.

The teams aggression in the forwards has been very noticeable.

So it should be. We have a pack that should be intimidating.

I was critical of Flange after the Manly game because tactics weren't changed when it was quite clear that they needed to.
Yesterday was a very different story.
His second half tactics were superb, I was very impressed.
Well coached and very well carried out by the players.

I think we can go to the big dance this year more-so then any other, our team oozes quality and experience the only thing that worries me is some of the older boys fizzling out later in the season, coaching.. doesn't fill me with confidence but i think i am just jaded.
