Flanno will trot out Robson again this week but for the sake of my sanity:

Barba
Feki
Leutele
Bird / Beale
Holmes
Wells / Bird
Murphy
Houma
Ennis
Gallen
Bakuya
Lewis
Graham

A Fifita
D Fifita
Heighington
Some other fat out of form guy...

Now of course there is no way Flan will move Fifita to the bench until he learns discipline what a crazy idea... There is no way Flan would play Gal at prop because thats what is best for the team.... Also no way Flan would look to Murphy and Wells...

Well it's up to the coach to extract good performances from players, I don't think it's been happening lately.

Every time I get the leader just goes straight in the recycling bin,

I collect them and use to start my combustion fire ..
or
I put one each down the front of my footy socks as shin pads when I do the whipper snippering.

these blokes can write what they want...it is clearly no reflection of the actual truth.

Remove emotion from the equation.

Flanos overall win rate is in the low 40s (percentage wise). Without Carney it drops to the mid 30's.

4 wins from 11 starts is mid 30's.

I really can't see him improving up above the low 40's with the cattle that we have and his coaching philosophy. A 40% win rate over 24 games is 9 or 10 wins for the season and that's where we are tracking. In there we will win some brave games, maybe destroy a team off their game and cop a few floggings ourself. Unfortunately on raw numbers 9 wins is potentially spoon material and definitely leaves you out of the 8.

Are we happy, and will the board and Lyall be happy to lose 6 out of 10 games?

I doubt it.

Training at Shark park.

Obviously something to behold.

An aging halfback running plays and looking the part until the weekend when reality hits.

No kicking drills - wait until we get into the game and then whoever feels like kicking it do so - on any tackle.

Dumb and dumber in charge of a boys club that runs the same drills every week in the belief that we will all wake up in 1988 and they are in fashion.

Widdop and benji ran plays to our left yesterday - created an extra man at will and threatened every set. Whereas Dumbo 1 is truly of the belief that whenever we shift it to the left to overweight-Wade we will trouble someone. Fatguts hasn't made a break or try assist since Dank drove into the car park for the first time. Except for James Roberts' try.

Then - if we go to the right we have Bird - who plays off the top of his head. So on opposite sides we have the choice of 'seen it all before Versus no idea what could happen.'

Up the middle we have boring as bat shite repitition and the fifita circus. How the f**k that hasn't been sorted out at training is beyond me. Have him do pushups or laps or whatever - but if he can't get the message bench the idiot.

For the same rot to be trotted out week after week...it must be perfected on the training paddock. They must practice it.

Either that or we're in Groundhog Day.

Add to that the great working of the bench, how to get the least out of your bench each week

Flanno will be praying for rain again, thats when we are a chance.

Frank, wonder the stat Flanno coaching record in wet against dry, as we know the wet brings teams together

I had the unfortunate experience of running into this guy over the weekend.

I asked him if the boys were ready and if he was confident.

"See what happens."

I saw what happened. Unacceptable. Unfortunately, we wont be able to sack him until this time next year.

So would it be possible to not sack him but rather give him a special projects title with that special project being he doesn't coach or come near the club???

Why mid year, next year?

Nothing instills confidence like 'see what happens'...

If the last part is true, I guess I shouldn't watch until mid next year

The question may well be, how many will be left watching my mid 2016

Maybe that is what they want to see. Marketing want to know how many hard core fans they really have that will show up no matter what trash is dished up.

Only thing that makes sense.
