Yup, I'm happy to still see Flanno shown the door.

I’m not too sure what would have been said at half-time but I felt the Sharks relaxed and started playing football, which is what they tend to do when they’re a long way out of the game.

They played more football than they generally do. Perhaps catch up football should be the template for the Sharks because they chanced their arm and enjoyed themselves and it turned out well.

Hmmm - interesting!

Look, APART from the Gal comment which was a shocker, he came across pretty well on the Shark Cast.

HOWEVER. he reminds me of a typical coach from a small club (i.e. my background is country NSW - Bathurst). In other words, any of the decent coaches from country NSW sound as knowledgeable as Flanno.

SO - the question is, do ALL NRL coaches sound that way (i.e nothing special)? I know Loz does...

Or, are the Bennetts/Bellamys/Maguires etc really 'a cut above' the rest?

I suspect the latter-mentioned coaches are genuinely better.

I would love to see Nathan Brown as our head coach, with Flanno as 'Assistant Coach', if he would be willing to cop the demotion. He obviously has a heart for the club ad the area.
